Where Did The Wind Go ?
Bernadette Gervais

A humorous and poetic book about the wind, beautifully illustrated by Bernadette Gervais’ stencil images.

“Little Cloud, do you know where the wind is? – It’s gone… I can no longer reach the mountain. Little Boat, do you know where the wind is? – It’s gone… I can no longer sail towards the island.”

In the first part of the book, we look for the wind, gone missing. When, finally, the Little Boy frees the wind, all the characters we previously met, who had found themselves motionless and unsettled without the wind, can resume their activity: the Little Bird can fly, the Little Flag can flap, the Little Weathercock can point to the North…

With its dynamic text great to read aloud to the younger ones, this story calls the attention on the driving force of the wind and on the movements of nature.
