Bad Cats
Delphine Chedru
A hilarious, cheering picture book that deconstructs prejudice and wittily touches on the matter of bullying.
Usually, cats are sweet and cuddly… These four cats are not! Nothing makes them happier than to torment anyone crossing their path. Until one day, a mouse arrives to town. Usually, mice are small and cute… This one is not! For the first time, the cats are being bullied by someone even meaner than them. And so, they decide to become nice. Nice, really? Will niceness suffice to get rid of such a formidable adversary, or will the cats have to give up on their virtuous resolution?
Children will love scanning the images and examining each detail imagined to make them laugh in this impertinent invitation to question the notions of kindness and malice.
